If you’re aiming to clear the CET Haryana 2025 exam, you need the right strategy, consistency, and a smart study plan. Whether you’re applying for Group C or Group D posts, preparation is key to securing a good score. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you ace the exam with confidence.

Understand the Exam Pattern

Before diving into your studies, it’s crucial to know what the exam entails.

  • Group C Posts: The exam includes subjects like General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, English, Hindi, Computer Knowledge, and Haryana General Knowledge. About 75% of the questions come from general subjects, while 25% focus on Haryana-specific topics.
  • Group D Posts: The subjects remain mostly the same but with a focus on basic knowledge and Haryana General Knowledge.
  • Duration & Format: The test consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and lasts for 90 minutes. The best part? There’s no negative marking!

Create a Study Plan

A well-structured study plan can make a huge difference. Here’s how you can organize your preparation:

  1. Set a Schedule – Divide your daily study hours based on subject difficulty and importance.
  2. Prioritize Haryana GK – Since 25% of the paper is about Haryana, make sure you study its history, geography, economy, and culture in detail.
  3. Daily Practice – Allocate time for solving previous years’ question papers and taking mock tests.
  4. Revise Regularly – Without revision, information retention becomes difficult. Set aside time to go over what you’ve studied.

Subject-Wise Preparation Tips

  • General Awareness: Stay updated with national and international news. Read newspapers, follow current affairs websites, and revise static GK.
  • Reasoning: Practice different types of puzzles, series, coding-decoding, and analogy-based questions daily.
  • Mathematics: Focus on fundamental concepts and shortcut tricks for quick calculations. Topics like percentages, algebra, and simplification are crucial.
  • Science: Revise basic physics, chemistry, and biology from Class 10 level books.
  • English & Hindi: Improve vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension skills by reading books and practicing exercises.
  • Computer Knowledge: Learn basic computer fundamentals, MS Office, and internet-related topics.
  • Haryana General Knowledge: Read about the state’s history, famous personalities, government schemes, and recent developments.

Practice with Mock Tests

Mock tests are essential for time management and accuracy. They help in:

  • Understanding question patterns.
  • Identifying weak areas.
  • Enhancing speed and accuracy.

Stay Motivated & Healthy

Exam preparation can be stressful, so it’s important to take breaks, exercise, and eat healthy. A positive mindset will help you stay focused and confident.
