Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET)

The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET), also known as the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET), is an essential examination for those aspiring to become teachers in the state of Rajasthan. It is conducted annually by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education and consists of two stages:

  1. Stage I: For candidates who wish to teach primary classes (Class I to V).
  2. Stage II: For candidates who wish to teach upper primary classes (Class VI to VIII).

Candidates have the option to appear for either Paper I (for Stage I), Paper II (for Stage II), or both. To be eligible, candidates must meet the cut-off marks and other criteria specified on the official website. This examination is mandatory for anyone aiming to teach in primary and upper primary schools in Rajasthan.
